Upgrading Microsoft Office

Hey all, we currently have office student addition on our home PCs. Next week we will be receiving the office pro cd. Should office student be completely uninstalled before installing office pro?

It should be clever enough to just upgrade what you already have.
Give it a werl; the worst that will happen is that you'll have to uninstall student.

Sure can't hurt to just install it and let it work. If you want to be safe and have less issues uninstall the one you have then install the new. You'll be having a new key anyway, so no big deal.
